I absolutely loathed this audiobook. I lost track of characters. I could not find a plot. The 'hero' is a detective who is a hot mess. Her many frantic one-night stands and embarrassing passages of descriptive sex do nothing to enhance the story, but it did make me lose any respect or fondness I could have had for her. I don't really care what psychological baggage she brings to her job. It doesn't excuse her bad behaviour. 'The Fall Between' in a nutshell: Cops get laid and women die.
