This series is still getting better and better

I've enjoyed all the previous books in this series and have to say that this one really captures all the best charm and character development of its forerunners and takes us a step forward. The plot is complex and the mysteries are deeply embedded in the grief of the various characters, the details put together in a rational but surprising manner, the final one being revealed only at the very end. Hurrah for Freya and Huldur and Saga (who is amazing). I really love that the author portrays her child characters as real, complex humans regardless of their ages. And you'll never guess who fathered Edla's baby! Read this one!
