Audio is broken in a few chapters, skips and studders like a low quality youtube audiobook. The dynamic between the 2 main characters is terrible. It's hard to enjoy a good story when the characters act so oddly it makes them impossible to relate to or like. The side characters are interesting and the author gives them plenty of room to develop as the story goes on. The villains are well done if a bit one dimensional. The magic system isn't covered much tho it does appear interesting. All in all a good story that's hard to love with the douchy way the mc's behave toward each other. Terrible rating cause I found myself skipping most scenes about the 2 mains pining for each other or spewing conflicted statements that goes against all the bs pining they did previously. Terrible attempt at romance.
