In an instant, her life begins to fall apart around her, but as she enters Kaledon, the newest and most realistic fantasy world on the market, Kadia finds her dreams and passion rekindled.

great story and narrator
overall everything is good about this book the only thing I disliked is the mc writers in this genre have a habit of making female mcs bitchy and im not much a fan of that but the story was definitely good enough for me to overlook that also I find it backwards that she wants to sell cheap to the world and charge her guild high prices for everything when it should be the other way around if her guild is constantly helping her but that's just my opinion still worth the credit I read this in a day and a half cant wait for book 2.

Fun
I'd urge you to stick with this book if the first few minutes are harsher than you'd like and to have some patience with the MC if you find her b****y like another reviewer claimed. I mean, that's not an entirely inaccurate description but tsundere would be MORE accurate. She's a kid (18 is a kid to me anyways) with a brain that isn't fully developed and she's healing from some significant trauma. Yes, she can be emotionally immature for her age but I think you'll figure out why as you go. Irl, I'd lose patience with her if I had a run in, although my own non-confrontational nature would make that unlikely, but as a character in a world where consequences aren't quite so permanent she's just interesting and sometimes even hilarious in her "vicious vixen" persona. Overall, would 100% recommend if you like world-building, leveling based stories, and game immersion stories where the real world and game world effect each other. If you're looking for consistent action look elsewhere, although it really seems like it was a slow build-up and further books will have more action than book 1. Book 1 leaves a lot of loose ends on purpose to draw you into the sequels, but isn't a cliffhanger.

Très bon livre fantastique
Ce livre contient un monde très riche et très bien développé. L'histoire est vraiment intéressante, mais elle commence lentement. Le personnage principale sort de l'ordinaire, mais elle est trop attachée au monde réel pour développer son plein potentiel pour le moment du moins. Si on sait patienter un peu ça en vaut vraiment la peine puisque le premier tome semble surtout une habile mise en place pour une plus grande et belle aventure.
La narration est très expressive et bien réalisée. Les émotions sont claires tout comme les différence entre les personnages.

Very Enjoyable!
I’ve enjoyed many performances by Rebecca Woods and when I discovered this book, I was quickly drawn in by the main character and her journey into a digital life. I recommend this book to anyone into gamelit fantasy.
