This was a great story to listen to of a true life experiences by the brave souls that made there way to the Yukon.

This is a wonderful fictionalized history. I say 'fictionalized history' because, although it is partly based in fact, it sneakily develops into a fictionalized version of history. This is troublesome, because the book is advertised as a 'true story', which it is not. Unsure how many stars to remove for this. I'd given 5 because I'd really enjoyed it, although believing it to be a true story.
