This is book seven in a series. It a very entertaining novel. It shows the emperor Nero at his most insane moments. After the earlier book with the fool Emperor Claudius . And before that emperor Caligula. It’s been an entertaining series. This book does not disappoint . Robert Fabbri is a master story teller. Peter Kenny is also a master in his narrating. Only thing I did not like in this book was the ending . It was sudden and abrupt . Unlike the earlier books where the ending brought the story to its natural conclusion . I thought it had one more chapter left . But otherwise a great listen.
