oh how I enjoyed this book. it was so captivating and the characters were impossible not to love.

having thoroughly enjoyed the "Me Before You" series, I was curious about what this book would be like, seeing as it is a departure from the modern setting Moyes typically uses. While I had a little trouble getting into the story at first (that could have been due to some distractions in my own life and not the story per se), I found myself getting sucked in to the story and growing to love all of the characters. The book had a somewhat predictable ending, but this didn't bother me at all since it ended as I had hoped it would. :) The performance was also excellent! Well worth the credit spent!

What a fantastic story of great women. And so beautiful narrated by Julia Whalen. I'll be getting Jojo Moyes other books now.

This is a captivating story. It was especially delightful because of the ability of the reader to do all the different accents. Loved it!
