À propos de cet audio

Magic exists... and it doesn't want her. Her fated mate plans to change that.

Lainie Eaves has no idea she's descended from shifters. She doesn't even know shifters exist because when she was born human, her grandparents made sure she would never learn the truth about her family.

But now they're dead. And she's back in Hideaway Cove to deal with their crumbling old estate—and discover everything that was kept hidden from her.

Hideaway Cove is the only safe haven griffin shifter Harrison Galway has ever known—a place where, as a shifter, he can live without hiding what he is. When gorgeous, curvy Lainie arrives in town, he knows at once that she's his fated mate.

But her history with Hideaway Cove means where he sees a sanctuary, she only sees rejection. Can he heal her heart when all she wants to do is run away again?

The Griffin's Mate is a fated mates shifter romance where he falls first, with a cinnamon roll hero and a heroine who doesn't believe in magic or love—and is about to discover how wrong she is about both.

Escape to Hideaway Cove, a small town with a magical secret. Each book in the Hideaway Cove series can be enjoyed as a standalone and features powerful shifters falling head over heels for their fated mates. No cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happy-ever-after in every book!

I’m struggling so much because I like the silly cute story! It’s easy listening and cute, exactly what you expect from a novel of this genre. The female narrator is absolutely driving me nuts though— she sounds robotic, annunciating every single syllable. No one actually talks like that!!!!!!!!! It’s important to read clearly, YES, but when you sound like Siri or Alexa for an entire novel, it just doesn’t work. The male narrator is good though. It was a relief for me when it switched from her to him.

Predictable cutsie story line.
The female narrator is cringy.
The um, ‘intimate interactions’ went on a bit long… I ended up skipping over some of it cause it was excessive, in my opinion. If you’re into lengthy, heavily detailed, drawn out sexual romantic reading, this one is for you lol.

Another example of how narrators matter so much with audiobooks…
