The Guidon Bearer is a semi-fictitious account of one man's journey through Air Force Basic Military Training around the year 2000. Unlike the other four services, anyone who served in the US Air Force has gone through the exact same place: Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX.
Here's a story all veterans will relate to, non-service-members will find entertaining, and all Air Force veterans past, present, and future will give a big thumbs up! Maybe even wonder if they were there when it happened.
