Have enjoyed all the Comorant Books immensely. But this one felt different. It was very dark, very twisted and not easy to read! My 33 yr old daughter felt the same. Maybe a reflection of where the author is at in this frustrating world. I tried to read again in case it was just me but didn’t finish the second reading. Don’t mind a bit dark or twisty but for this series it was too much!!

Probably the best in the series so far. Throughly enjoyed this audiobook. Can't wait for the next book. Robert Glenister's narration is at it's usual high standard. Definitely recommend.

I enjoyed the characters and storyline thank you. The only issue I had was my wife getting mad at me for listening to the audiobook while she had a job list to tell me about.

Great detective story plot with humour, heartbreak and human nature. I adore this series. Narration is brilliant.

Excellent Continuation of the Strike Series

Such a complex story, just how I like it. Since I didn't have a map, thumbtacks and red yarn to keep all the characters and story arcs straight, I relied heavily on the narraor's ability to bring each of JK Rowling's characters to life and help me to differentiate them. I'm not one to typically re-listen to an author's works but feel that the Strike series warrants an exception while I wait for the next installment!
