Enough about your smart sleeper already!

Some really useful information in this book but the author tries to sell the reader on his smart sleeper far too often

Really effective in child calming!

Loved it! We applied techniques from that book as we listened to it daily. Our baby responded so well to 5s's. We kept our sanity thanks to it. Our friends keep saying we make parenting looks so easy.

Basic Information and VERY Repetitive

If you’ve never seen or been around a baby in your entire life, then this book may be helpful. As a FTM, I did not find it particularly helpful and think that all the information offered could have easily been condensed into a 2-3 page PDF. There were a few good nuggets, but the author offers his 5Ss - Swaddling, Shushing, Side/Stomach position, Swinging, and Sucking over and over again, sometimes using the exact same paragraphs used earlier in the book. He “debunks” myths with very selective and limited research. It’s okay as a quick and casual listen, but I honestly wouldn’t recommend. Extremely repetitive.

just google the 5 S

What a disorganized and repetitive mess. 5 hours of the same 5s stuff over and over.

Should be a one-sheeter

Really impactful book, my wife and I plan on using it as a guide to raising our future daughter, but I found it to be really redundant and tangential. It would often dispel myths that I never knew existed in the first place.

repeat of same information

same information at least 4 times or more. same words and tone. probably audio was edited only to last longer. it could have been done within 1 hour of audio time or so, then it would be a 0.99 cent book so the publisher must have said, you must make the book longer and it was edited with same story over and over again. helpful information I will try on our new born baby but it was done horribly.

Absolute Must Read !!!

this book will help you truly understand, feel with and care for your baby! After reading/ listening to this, there is very little to none frustration, depression, feeling of helplessness or even depression left. I feel like I am 100% capable of taking care of my now 3.5 month old, even during the struggly times and literally everyone tells me "shes such a happy baby", when I know for a fact, without this book and more education on the leaps they go through, knowing when to expect them, shed be a "colicky" baby. Her and I are inseparable and I feel so very confident in my ability to care for her and satisfy her needs and find a way to calm her, if not always instantly, but eventually for sure.
