FMC got on my nerves

about 2/3 through I started to dislike the FMC. the story became annoying with the over the top assumptions and intentional misunderstandings that could have been easily clarified. I contemplated not finishing the story but the voice actors we enough to help me push through to the end which im glad I did.

excellent narrators

I really enjoyed the story but the he’s in love with someone else went on too long. I would have liked more of the I know we love each other activities or just a shortening of the story by about a tenth. Otherwise I liked the premise and the dialogue.

A little too long deciding

I still have 2 hours to go but it is a struggle. So drawn out and the female character is willfully blind. My last straw was “every time my ex husband and I had sex it was special to me, to give my body to him like that blah blah” REALLY? Really. Every time? Could have been adequately wrapped up in 3 hours not 10.

This one starts a bit slow, but once it gets going, it becomes a cozy and rewarding holiday listen. The Holiday Ex-Files blends seasonal charm with a heartfelt story about healing after loss, without ever feeling too heavy. It’s comforting, hopeful, and a lovely choice if you want a Christmas story with a little emotional depth.
