Always wanted to read this but the task seemed to daunting. It was hard slog just listening. Glad I did it though. The text fills in the many gaps left open by the hollywood machine.

A classic of epic proportions too bad the narrator did not do this story justice. All characters have the same tone and voice and quite unfortunately the narrator's voice was very painful to listen to .

I do not like this book because the narrator's voice is unpleasant and monotone. There is no life to this story and I cannot listen to it.
