Great book for fans of Elder Scrolls games and lore. Paid plenty of homage to the set lore. As well the story was engaging.

Despite being published under the Elder Scrolls name, precious little of the extensive lore of Tamriel is used in this book. The story of a plucky teenage girl in an evil city and the prince disobeying his father to rescue her is so tedious that I couldn't reach the end, which apparently is just a cliffhanger for the second book. As for the narrator, he did a serviceable job until the prince. Unfortunately he chose to voice this character with a waver that was reminiscent of Dudley DooRight. Best to avoid the whole thing.
