À propos de cet audio

Enroll in this boarding school thriller about a group of prep school elites who would kill to get into the college of their dreams...literally.

"The Plastics meet the Heathers in this murder mystery about ruthless Ivy League ambition." -Kirkus Reviews

"Twisty and thrilling...boarding school murder has never been so much fun!" –Kara Thomas, author of That Weekend

Everyone knows the Ivies: the most coveted universities in the United States. Far more important are the Ivies. The Ivies at Claflin Academy, that is. Five girls with the same mission: to get into the Ivy League by any means necessary. I would know. I'm one of them. We disrupt class ranks, club leaderships, and academic competitions...among other things. We improve our own odds by decreasing the fortunes of others. Because hyper-elite competitive college admissions is serious business. And in some cases, it's deadly.

Alexa Donne delivers a nail-biting and timely thriller about teens who will stop at nothing to get into the college of their dreams. Too bad no one told them murder isn't an extracurricular.

"Quick pacing, dark humor, and deftly drawn characters distinguish this satirical thriller from Donne." (Publishers Weekly)

"Donne unravels elite college admissions with a bitter blend of privilege, high pressure, competitiveness...and murder, in this twisty, page-turning thriller. A definite one-sitting read." (J.Elle, New York Times best-selling author of Wings of Ebony)

A fun read! Really enjoyed it, saw some of the twists coming but the final reveal still surprised me. Wasn't a huge fan of the narrator's Ethan voice, and the ending made me kinda sad, but overall I still recommend this book!

Fun and Smart Mystery

From the first few chapters through to the end. I felt like I was teleported into the Ivies world. I hated what they where doing but from Olivia's perspective I got an intimate look as to why. Normally, school settings like this aren't my cup of tea, but the book was incredibly well written. Some predictability but always entertaining.

Sucks you in.

Absolutely loved this book! I’ve never experienced high price boarding schools, and I’ve never been remotely qualified to even apply to an Ivy League school, much less compete with other students to get into one. What I have experienced is bullying, and not fitting in, and sometimes not knowing who I can trust. Haven’t we all? And that right there is what makes this book so relatable. So, if you don’t mind the occasional F-bomb, I’m confident you’ll love this book by Alexa Donne as much as I did! The narrator is phenomenal, too! Five stars from me in every category for sure!

Amazing!

The story held no intrigue and has now been forgotten as another wasted read. Too many details about the characters that didn’t enhance the story but distracted from it. A bunch of spoiled rich kids cheating to get into an Ivy League school? Boring to say the least. No grit.

Weak - disappointed
