very entertaining
Great performances for this short, fast-paced story. Just like old school radio drama, this kept me company while I was cooking!

Great short story
As the title says, it is great. Voice acting/audio is very good. Would love more stories following the lead in the future.

The voices knew their craft
Suspenseful and engaging. Did not see that ending coming. Enjoyed the actors. Worth the listen.

A Treat
I enjoyed the fast pace plot in this drama thriller. It's like listening to a radio theater. It's a good short story by James Patterson. And Sanal Lathan played the role superbly, not just because she's one of my fave actresses.

Too much whispering and sudden loud noises
I typically really enjoy the high production value of these Audible sets where it’s like you’re watching a movie/TV show. All characters are acted by different voices with sounds and music. The problem here is that there are far too many very low voice conversations where the actors are whispering to each other, or are supposed to be in different rooms, etc. Unless you’re wearing earphone, there’s no chance you’re going to hear anything. So you crank up the volume to try to catch some of what is being said, only to be reaching for the volume button again due to sudden loud noises like someone slamming their hand on a table. It’s very unpleasant.
As for the story, it’s ok. Enjoyable as a short story.

Great Short Story and Cast
This is a fantastic short story thriller, it was compelling and consistently evolving. I loved the plot twists and the full cast production truly brought this story to life.

Not Very Good
This radioplay about a blackmail scheme targeting SCOTUS was clearly written by Screenplay Writer Aaron Cooley under the penumbra of James Patterson's brand (there is very little of Mr. Patterson's signature style). The story moves quickly with clear plot transitions - it's written capably - but it's strikingly action-heavy for a Political Thriller. Do Not expect anything approaching character development or thoughtful contemplation of issues (Social Media companies teaming up with 'Blackwater'-styled mercenary organizations should have been more fully explored). Missed opportunity. *sigh*
Audible Originals Inc compound the deficiencies in the story with overproduction. The full cast performances are creditable - but background noises, sound effects, and incidental music overwhelm the text.
Altogether, frequent overwrought gun battles and hand-to-hand combats render the story unsuitable to an audiobook in this format. There are uncomfortably long stretches of banging and crashing and grunting. 'The Justice' rates 3.5 stars out of 10. It wasn't a crazy waste of time for Free.. but keep browsing if they ask for a Credit.
