"The Kid Whisperer" is the second book in "The Adom Chronicles", a fast-paced, urban comedy series that explores the power of family, love, and unity amidst chaos. The Adom family has moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where their children's extraordinary powers are on overdrive. Kwabena and Ama, the parents, call their friend Ira Murphy, the quirky Kid Whisperer, to come to Atlanta and help their children control their powers.
Ira arrives speaking in rhymes and with his unorthodox methods, he helps the kids develop more of their power of imagination. The Adom family's kids, Kofi, Akosua, and Yaw, use their powers to cause all kinds of mayhem in the big city, making Chocolate City never be the same again. With Ira's hands full this time, he has to deal with the chaos that escalates with each passing day.
