Could hardly turn it off. Grabs your attention immediately with nonstop action all the way to the last chapter. Interesting perspective when you are cheering for the bad guy. I found this book 10 times better than the Jack Reacher books which I found slow and boring. If you like fast paced action, you will love this book. I will start the second book tomorrow

Great assassin

This is the first book I’ve read by Tom Wood and I really enjoyed it. Even though we’ve all read books about hired killers this one was refreshing and crisp. The story line was believable and flowed nicely to a climactic conclusion. The narrator was very good and never boring. I’ll be looking for more titles by Tom Wood.

I’m always trying different authors and have become jaded by reading “formula” stories. Fortunately this book was quite original with some serious twists in the story line. I also found that I was curious to read the next in the series.

ChatGPT could write a better novel. This was filled with stereotypes, ridiculous and repetitive action scenes (same situation dressed in a different location), anti-European tropes and asinine comments from characters. So many better thriller options out there.
