Impossible behavior to understand

I had no idea just how cruel that the Japanese ww2 soldiers could stoop to. I learned so much from this book but some of it I wish I could unlearn.

full detailed registery

amazingly detailed history by dates, locations, and witnesses.. brutal facts of the war with some undersanding for the background before the war

Abandoned

I can’t say for sure whether I like or dislike the actual writing. Perhaps better in text form. I listened to several chapters and then skipped ahead a chapter or two, hoping that the narrator would be less abrasive, but eventually abandoned the whole thing. I found the narrator too contrived sounding and basically- boring.
