So many cool ideas, great pace and the most realistic dialogue I’ve read from any book. A really great read!

Seriously can’t believe how much I’m spending on this series but wow am I enjoying it.

Hilarious character development, great use of descriptive pros, especially believable magic... and the narration puts it over the top.

6/5 stars for me

Just bought 3 more credits as I can’t wait to finish this series.

PS can’t believe the author ended this book mid battle!?!

I cannot say I am unhappy with it. It's a fantastic story there are however some different paths I sometimes beleive would have been better. But it is a compelling and gripping story. I find myself always drawn back.

Once again a great story with darkness, humor, drama and action. I am greedily garding my latest credit in anticipation for the next release...which is close right?

Nick Podehl is an evil genius who has ruined all other narrators for me.

Again and again, this series keeps getting better!

Four books in and it’s still fun. Enough twists and turns to keep it interesting. But too much time spent on stats and level ups in my opinion. The number and frequency of chimes and sound effects is getting silly. But on the plus side, it’s laugh out loud funny at times. Crom the dwarf is my favourite.

An addictive series that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

So I have been checking reviews in backwards order, I listened to the whole series, some books better then others but the dr never disappoints.
Nick brings the story to life, and the references in the book make the fantasy more real. I can’t wait.

Started at book one and listened all the way to this one back to back. I enjoyed all the books, I wish this book advanced some of the plot lines that were set up in the early books and not yet resolved. I was a bit sad to reach the end and find the new plot line for this book was also not resolved. Hopefully the next book is almost finished! I need to know what happens! haha
