Deceptively brilliant albeit the subject matter may not be for everyone. A very dark and descriptive journey thru an apocalyptic nightmare. Furthermore, Jake Urry's narration is perfect for this series. Throughout the entire story I could envision everything in perfect detail due to the writing and the narration combined. This is the closest I want to be to experiencing such an event.
I highly recommend this series.

A gross and engrossing foray into the world of monsters by long-time buddies that started out as a typical bachelor party and ended up a horrifying trek through a nightmare landscape. Rich Hawkins is a master at the writing craft and Jake Urry tells us the story with aplomb. I am looking forward to Book II... bring it on!
