This whole trilogy is absolutely amazing. The characters are well developed, the historical depictions are well researched and on point, and most of all you can’t help but fall in love and feel part of their stories.

A trilogy for the ages

This was my least favourite book in the trilogy. I was hoping the time period of of the Second World War would inspire some rich historical drama. Not so. There was barely a nod to history, instead the reader must suffer through the continuing and tedious romance between Jack an Kitty. I also felt that characters had complete personality changes simply in order to wrap up a plot line. Not worth reading.
