Description

When they were children, Erica Calcott and her sister, Beth, spent their summer holidays at Storton Manor. Such a vivid and elaborate storyline!

I loved the narrator. She did an amazing job. Each separate character was instantly recognizable—and felt so real (which is also a testament to the writing).

The plot was intricate and complex, so you’ll want to listen carefully, especially at first—but I love that and found the whole story to be compelling and thought-provoking. I couldn’t get to the end fast enough, even while another part of me never wanted it to end.

I will definitely seek out other stories by this author and by this narrator.
