I loved this story from beginning to end. The characters were lovingly developed as the story of human flaws, tragedy, and forgiveness unfolded and the surprise twists and turns of the clever plot were revealed. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Phaedra Patrick is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. She’s so creative, and draws you in with her simple and subtle details. You feel as though you are walking right beside Martha in her journey.

I liked the description, and really wanted to like the book, but could not get past the dull description of the main character. Unfortunately, it was all very delayed and boring.
