Overall I enjoyed the story. The performance was well done. It was an interesting coming of age story and the parallels to the octopus were clear. In some ways I thought the actions of Pen, the protagonist, somewhat naive and the outcomes of her actions with others somewhat too ideal. But really, what is wrong with that?
