For a first novel Lovell knocks it out it of the park. He’s created characters that have you wanting to hear more of their stories. Mercer is imperfect and relatable for many. The topic isn’t an easy one to address in a fiction novel, but Lovell does it justice and doesn’t glorify it. Can’t wait for the next instalment and to see where HER goes next.
