Love the characters. Had a great laugh over Jack and his granddad.
Definitely an inspirational book on what the art of community can do for others.
Can’t wait to read more of this author’s novels!

Great novel

This book has good story ideas but it's not as funny as it could have been. The comedy could have been enhanced organically if character development was focused on more since this isn't slapstick comedy based. There could have been more situational comedy but the dilemmas seemed glossed over. The narration was good but not greatly emoted. Then again, if the writing was stellar, the narration wouldn't have been as noticeable. Since I've started the series with book 2, rather than book 1, I missed out on some of the backstory. This could have affected my view of the story layering.
