A remarkably well written book. Her descriptions are wonderful and what an amazing life. She was well ahead of her time in standing up and fighting for her rights as a woman.

Thoroughly enjoyed this autobiogrsphy. From the struggles of her stage career to films and struggles with studio executives. Her films, her marriages and her children.

An excellent listen

The unabashed life and times of the confident Bette Davis was a great listen. The narrator was exactly right, I kept swearing this was the real Better Davis all the way through. How fun to hear a woman so confident and secure in herself and her work- something you almost never hear. She was a real professional and worked hard, enjoying her life as she directed it. I would imagine there will never be another like her- definitely a woman from another era, a true character with unique views and talent. I enjoyed every minute of it.
