I was quite disappointed after listening to this book. At parts actually angry when listening, which took me by surprise. The details given by the author/survivor really reflect their 1st class hierarchy and audacity for the time period. To state that everyone remained calm and prayed while the ship was sinking is quite unbelievable. It might possibly be the authors interpretation of events, but comes across as ignorant of the horror that the people who did not survive must have experienced. Perhaps he was in shock and that was his experience, as he does provide much detail on the surrounding environment (calm sea, bright stars, etc) from his life boat.
