Unless you’re with someone who doesn’t want to believe the facts and the decades of research done by the Gottmans, I can’t imagine this book doing anything but making unhappy unions into happy ones again! As long as your partner has the ability to self reflect (I believe there’s even potential if your partner has narcissistic traits or personality disorder, so long as they’re not too high on the spectrum). I’d recommend everyone have the men in their lives listen to/read this book (and I would recommend the women listen as well!) before throwing in the towel!
