Story was unique and humorous at times, overall not a bad read. Narration...narrator did a good job with characters but had to speed up his voice overall to minimize that weird tonality that was quite a detractor....( to my ears anyways )

Very interesting premise for a story,and always cool to hear the Canadian references aswell.. Became a fan of Keith C Blackmore from the Mountain Man series and will always be a fan.

Keith C Blackmore is my favourite author by far and The Missing Boatman is up there for my favourite book! Super unique concept was written sooo well and narrated amazingly as well :) can’t wait for more Blackmore books as I’m on round 2 of listening to all of my fave series from him.

The narration was terrible. I had to speed it up.
It's a good story with lots of Canadian content. I really enjoyed other books from this author, The Mountain Man series was fantastic.
The Boatman is a story of the supernatural story that went in a direction I never expected. A different narrator would really help.

The story is really good. The analogies are corny. The writing ok.

The excessive use of foul and sexually explicit language is not necessary and disappointing. I’m not a prude, this book is over the top. The story would take half the time to tell if the language was improved.

Above average story but hard to recommend.
