Enjoyed the story of two Polish girls in the tough world of fashion. Sex scenes a bit steamier than I thought they’d be.

Really annoying that it just ended! Where is the conclusion to the novel? I would not have bothered listening to it if I would have known there was no ending.

Update: the rest of the book has been added. I have not finished it yet but I am enjoying it so far.

Excellent story with a very abrupt ending. I do not recommend this book because it does not have an ending.

First off, I enjoyed the narration. The voices/accents were clear and consistent, so it was easy to keep people straight. I did not like the random interjections of music and sound effects. It was distracting and a bit campy.

The story itself was interesting, if a bit tricky to keep up with at times. The chapter headings helped “Ewa - Paris 1993” etc. Hearing the same events described from multiple perspectives was an interesting way to weave together the twists and turns.

Overall, it was worth the time spent to listen, and I enjoyed the “world making” in terms of the 90s setting.

Note there are some spicy scenes that are not suitable for young ears (NSFW) but these also are accompanied by the cheesy music, so it is easy to know when to pause.
