As a father of two small children, Paul injects warmth and fun into this recording - appealing for grown-ups, too. Eknath Easwaran (1910 - 1999) is respected around the world as a teacher of meditation and an authentic guide to universal wisdom. More than 1.5 million copies of his books are in print around the world, including Gandhi the Man, and his best-selling translations of The Bhagavad Gita, The Dhammapada, and The Upanishads.

In 1961 he founded the Blue Mountain Center of Meditation, which continues his work today. Easwaran lived what he taught, giving him enduring appeal as a teacher of deep insight and warmth.

The stories are short (11 minutes) but can you imagine Eknath’s Granny passing these words of wisdom to her young grandson. I believe that children’s books are far more insightful than given credit .
