Terrible, couldn't finish it

This story was so bad. Most of us have experienced gaslighting in one form or another, toxic families, and enmeshed mothers, but this book was absolutely intolerable. The protagonist was so naive and willfully blind that I could not feel any empathy for her at all. Hated it.
