Description
On the anniversary of the day his best friend, Byrd, had a tragic accident on the mountain that had been the boys' paradise and escape, Wolf Truly reaches for the summit again with the intention of not coming home. But Wolf meets three women in the cable car on the way up from Palm Springs and finds himself agreeing to help them get to a mountain lake.
As the weather suddenly deteriorates, the group is stranded on a lethal ridge, and the lights of the city twinkle below, so close and yet so terrifyingly far away. Those who will survive the ordeal will do so through a mixture of bravery, determination, and self-revelation.

Excellent! I had to listen again!
I just loved all parts of the story so much that I wasn't ready to let it go. So I listened a second time through. I found that I did catch a few things that I hadn't realized would become important later on or that had a significance I hadn't caught the first time. Anyway, I loved the back-stories (although often sad, tragic, wrenching), the natural mountain setting (flora and fauna), the developing/deepening relationships between the 4 people stuck on the mountain, and the ever-building anticipation I felt to find out who wouldn't make it off the mountain alive.
The author is from my home town of Chatham, Ontario and I'm proud of her success!!

Mountain Time
Time on this mountain was Devine as it was devastating. Beautiful written story. Worth every minute.
