Many connections are made to the history of the Saracenic Empire. In the Book of Daniel, he makes an exhaustive study of the statue seen by Daniel in a dream and the empires represented by it. The cities of Rome and Istanbul also feature in the text, as well as the Papacy and the Ottoman Empire. This work is a thorough and illuminating look at prophecy firmly rooted in the Bible.
