It was okay. Didn’t like the first book either but thought I’d give it a shot. Not the biggest fan of the narration.

Narration was great as in the first but story was really predictable compared to the first one. Magic was not able to be re created and quite predictable unfortunately.

I love Molly the maid and the way she sees the world, especially when she solves murder cases. I truly enjoyed listening to the narrator voice Molly and the other characters along the way in their adventures. This is true storytelling and I felt swept away during every chapter. This reminded me of my Gran, thank you for that.

Another great book in the Molly The Maid series!

I always find the FMC in this series to be a breath of fresh air, and I think the only reason I didn't like this one as much as the first is because I found it a little sad that the FMC was conforming to society, even if it made sense why and how she was.

I really loved the mystery behind this one since it was author/book related - and I definitely had close ideas of who did it, but in the end I was still shocked!
