Right up to the end there was realism....then the climate change myth struck
The author should have stayed with his strengths, microbe hunting and fighting.
Ending the book with a nod to global warming as a contribution to extreme pandemic likelihood, is not supported by facts

Longwinded needs abridging
The author tries to make the topic too personal also as if in an attempt to win over reader by sharing his own stories which informed his conclusions. he would be better to get to the point an abridged version is definetly good for those who value their time.
