The narrator was okay. Cool plot idea, but wasn’t that interesting. Also, way too many male names to keep up with, which was annoying.

I was shocked when I came across this book. The cover seemed like a one-night listen suspense/thriller indistinguishable from others. Very wrong. This author definitely did not hold back with infuriating, yet not totally unrealistic, subject matter and had a great behind-the-scenes understandings of Hollywood and right extremist mentality. All of the characters were well developed and had depth, even if they died within a chapter. There were a lot of moving parts and potential loose ends here but the reader could still keep up and nothing was left too open, nor was any story line less interesting than another. Last, I really appreciate the rare male author who can portray a woman accurately. Spent no more than necessary time describing how she looks, developed a character who is imperfect but definitely not helpless who isn’t always pining after a love interest. If anything, the men in the story tended to be more histrionic - very realistic. I loved this book, and have enjoyed many others!

This was an AMAZING book! The suspense, the thrill of all the twists and turns in this story was crazy, diabolical and captivating at the same time. I started this book this morning and now I just finished it at 1:15am. Full out had to know the end What a wonderful story by this Author whom has become one of my Must Listen To. on my Radar of good writers. Wished I could give a 10 rating.
Beautiful written and beautifully narrated. Lots of characters but all relevant in every way. Wonderfully came together to make them all essential for a dynamic story.The narrator took us along on this fantastic journey of murder and suspenseful mystery.So happy that Kevin O’Brien has reduced the length of his books and condensed the stories into relatable hours. Goes to show we don’t need 14 hours to get where he is going. Hoping this continues as I will be reading more of his books. Definitely worth a CREDIT and absolutely most highly recommending this book. Thank you AUDIBLE PLUS for including this Amazing book in my Library.
