It was okay. A lot of characters, my adhd brain had trouble keeping up. They say « oh god » way too much. I did get a little surprise with the ending.

The book wasn’t bad although I did find it a bit slow in the first half or so, but did get better. I also did not care for the narrator.

The second half of the book definitely picked up interest

Not the best book I have listened to. I got somewhat lost with the characters or plot but wasn’t interested enough to go back to figure who they were. I did finish the book. Not sure if I would choose another by this author.

Kept me entertained for hours. I really liked the narration, felt very natural and easy to listen to. Story is a bit repetitive and could have been shorter, but I didn’t mind it so much. The story hooked me.

I liked it ! It had all the drama of a good southern story. Narrator was good, putting emphasis where it should be. Editing was a bit quick from chapter to chapter but overall really enjoyed it

I couldn’t make it past chapter 6 the narrator was not a good fit, Too bad plot seemed pretty exciting , I wish she could have held my attention.
