Amazing narrator! I loved the main characters and I was invested from the very beginning. This world is intriguing and I can't wait for the sequels. It feels different from your standard fantasy novel.

Character development is wickedly good. Did not disappoint. Having sympathetic characters that were also evil - author ate devoured and left no crumbs. And gay. Give me the gay. 🏳️‍🌈

I have a hard time finding queer fantasy novels that are actually good stories, and not just cheesy romances. I preordered this around November 2022 and I have been looking forward to it. It is by far one of the best fantasy novels I’ve read in quite some time. The world-building is akin to the throne of glass series, although it is unique in many ways. I cannot wait for the next book to come out, I’ll be the first to review it.
