À propos de cet audio

These true selected stories of The Noble Experiment: True Stories & Hard Truths from My Time in the DEA invite listeners to peek at the inside life of a DEA Agent.

Working in the volatile "Cocaine Cowboys” era and crack epidemic of the 1980s, Dave Gaddis earned a reputation as a man who could not be compromised. He continued his work during the drug invasion of the US Southwest Border of the 1990s and the methamphetamine, opioid and fentanyl crises of the 2000s.

From Miami to Medellin and Mexico, DEA Dave relentlessly pursued drug cartels, trying to stem illegal drugs from reaching the streets of America. Even though risky, at times even life-threatening work, Dave delivers his experiences at the human level and often with comedic tales.

Unfortunately for the United States population, after a quarter century the global scourge of illicit drugs remains omnipresent, prompting him to acknowledge the failures in America’s Drug Control Policy. Offering defined solutions, he explains what needs to be fixed to improve the United States’ defenses against a poison that has debilitated and irreparably damaged the US economy, its national security and the lives of millions.

As a DEA Special Agent for more than 25 years and serving in some of the most dangerous regions around the world, DEA Dave has a prospective on the national drug control policy that few do.

From Miami to Mexico, Colombia to Nicaragua, he worked investigations against the Mexican and Colombian cartels responsible for supplying all of the cocaine and most of the heroin destined for the United States.
