About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The war made this book quite fun, yes we had a mini war in the last book but with the Pather War being against other humans it made things interesting. I also liked the way this book reintroduced old characters while also letting new characters shine. The twins were a great addition. One thing I absolutely love about this story is the emphasis placed on the mental health of the characters, I especially liked the recovery room and the approach to helping Aster.

This was another excellently performed book. I am going to be on a lookout for more by the same narrator.

solid mix of action, relationships, politics. really reccomend a listen to anyone already into orienting to get into fantasy and dungeons

Book 2 was awful, but I actually appreciated book 3. There was plenty to get excited over, some meaningful info shared for the world at large, the characters and their own growth and development in this universe. I can admit to having an overall positive time with the book, even if I don't love the particular narrator.
