I am a big fan of the author’s non-fiction books on negotiation.

I rarely read science-fiction, so I wasn’t sure I would like the book, but I was quickly drawn in by the dialogue, the clever storyline, the historical references and the negotiation frameworks which shape the main character’s thoughts and actions.

The audio book narration is great. I typically listen to 40 or 50 audio books a year and this is the best one so far in 2022. Thanks for a very entertaining and thoughtful story.

I heard an interview with Deepak Malhotra on HBR After Hours podcast. So glad they had him on! I'm not a sci-fi person at all, but this one is so good. Negotiation, perspective taking, pressures decision making, and a little romance. I highly recommend this book.

Entertaining and informative. It’s like listening to a really fun story and learn about negotiations along the way. Agree with the author, the narrator is one of the bests. The subtle differences in tones makes it easy to follow conversations, but not too exaggerated that it becomes a distraction. Highly recommended.
