À propos de cet audio
The Arcane Brotherhood has long held the city of Luskan in their power, but when corruption eats away at their ranks, Captain Deudermont comes to the rescue of a city that has become a safe haven for the Sword Coast's most dangerous pirates. But rescuing a city from itself may not be as easy as Deudermont thinks, and when Drizzt can't talk him out of it, he'll be forced to help.
Drizzt is back in action again, and bringing more changes to the Forgotten Realms setting. This all new hardcover adventure will keep Drizzt fans guessing the whole way, with edge-of-your-seat action and plot twists that even the most casual listener of the Forgotten Realms novel line can't afford to miss.

Two things is disliked about this story. Nomber one: Deudermont's obsession with trying to change Luskan as governor. You're a captain dude. When has your ambition ever been to govern Luskan?
But the worst part: Drizzt figures out the food that Kensidan gives everyone comes from the Underdark and therefore, most likely, from dark elves supporting him. AND DRIZZT SAYS NOTHING! He « keeps his suspicions to himself »!! What the actual f***k?! It's not just phenomenally stupid, it's out of character for Drizzt to let his friends face such a dangerous enemy blindsided. I get why it was written that way. If Drizzt had said something, even Deudermont would have been forced to let go and retreat. And the final act would not have happened. Which, for me, makles it worst. The most unforgivable sin for a storyteller is to strike your characters with stupidity because you want the story to go in a certain direction. Happens all the time in bad movies and TV shows. But I expected better from Salvatore. From that point on, I just wanted the book to end, so I can move on to the next one with the hope that one of my favorite fantasy authors does'nt use such an affront to storytelling again.
A good Salvatore book (Some spoilers!)

Still feeling off about whole new pronunciation of key names and using whole new accents.
