A mystery should be credible in its main premise for the reader to willingly follow the author. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get past all the suspension of disbelief required of me in the very first chapter — the chapter containing the action the entire book is based on. I enjoyed the first of this series, but this one is a disaster.
