Like you, I vowed that if I was gonna sleep for 26 years then I was not going to waste that time. I prayed to God that night asking Him to take over my mind so that He could talk to me in my dreams.
That was not a random moment where I hear you say something and I implement it. That was a God-ordained moment because He knew that He was about to confirm and give me instructions based on what He was doing in my life. God talks to me in so many ways, but previously when He would communicate to me in dreams, I would be unsure of what they meant, and sometimes I would just disregard them or ask Google.
However after that prayer to ask God to talk to me in dreams, because I live a quiet, distraction-free life, and I don't feed my soul anything that could compete with the presence of God in my spirit, He began to use dreams to confirm some things He had already communicated to me about.
The Lord knew that I needed to hear you say that back then as the book was gonna come way later in my journey with Him. He knew that there was a lot He needed to do in my life and that He needed to incorporate the gift of dreams to confirm His word or to give me instructions. This won't make sense to you sis, it is everything to me. God is intentional and He has His word of knowledge and wisdom hidden in His sons and daughters. Most importantly He knows who we follow for encouragement and to recharge our faith and He gives those people the word knowing we would find it there. God still speaks and He is always speaking, when we slow down and cultivate a God-centered environment we hear Him without putting in any effort.

That aside, I really enjoyed the book. I’ve always been curious about dreams and how they relate to God speaking to us, and this book was so timely. I loved how she shared her own experiences and always pointed everything back to our relationship with God. I also appreciated the emphasis on meditation, especially before bedtime, and plan to incorporate that into my routine. Ever since I started listening to the book, I’ve been dreaming every night! What’s even more amazing is that I’ve been able to apply her steps, from identifying the type of dream to seeking revelation through the Holy Spirit. I have faith that God will come through for me during this difficult time. Thank you, Stephanie!
