Worth listening over and over again
The audiobook My first audible book. Clear diction, never boring. Gives an extra layer of clarity to Keller's much needed insight.
The book: It's always easy to put people in a nice box but when God confronts you with your own demons and prejudice what are you going to do? Keller masterfully draws attention between the parable of the 2 sons in Luke 15 and Jonah's story. He also skillfully reminds us that although we all are bond to be Jonah in a sense, Jesus is greater than Jonah. Each chapter is structured in such a way that concise exegesis of the text, theological implications and the much needed practical applications are given equal weight.
Regardless of your background (religious or otherwise) and where you stand politically. If you ever wondered why this world is full of selfish and self-centered people and what can we do about it, this book will challenge you to the core.
