Jed Welch thought washing out of the Marines Corps was the worst thing that could happen. It landed him back in his old life of crime, running with drug dealers in Queens. this is another great set in the Extinction series. I really hope that you guys are approached by someone to use your idea to make a movie or a video game in the future. I hope to see more with these characters!

so disappointed in this series, the rest of the extinction ones were so good and this one is irritating, it was like the author was trying to hard to pretend to be a marine. Seriously do your research before you write a book.

If I hear the word Ra one more time I'll scream

The action is good- starts with a bang- easy to follow however there are some anomalies. In the first book even getting a drop IG infected blood turns you as we progress and as it suits the writer even getting bitten may or may not change you.
The main character is always Jed but each book develops interesting characters that do not appear in the subsequent books.
Overall at its peak it keeps you rooted

No specific plot except for running from zombies. Way too much gore and weak characters. I’m not saying I can do better but this book suffers from lazy writing and lack lustre performance.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this should not be encouraged.

Too much blood and gore for me. People turning into monsters within seconds and being killed was more than I could take.

eh, I got bored. no humor, nothing really truly difficult fir the MC. Somewhere In book 3 I just stopped listening. Only reason I made it that far is it was just background noise for lots of it. I tried to pay attention but it didn't take long to lose track again.

I got through the first book and half of the second and could not take heading "Ra" anymore! zero storyline zero character development. I really wanted to like this but they're just wasn't anything to get attached to but endless lengthy gory descriptions of monsters with no reasoning as to what's going on. could not be bothered to finish the trilogy.

Blood and guts ,every page fighting and mostly losing. Gutter language constantly. I have listened to many zombie books and enjoy the adventure of why they happened and how different characters rallied against them. This was so boring. to me. Besides I got so tired of the relentless description of gun warfare and graphic gutter language that author perceives to be the only way soldiers communicate. Every other paragraph was a repeat of the monsters physical description and scraaaping claws.
