Excellent book very well narrated!
Loved the story, the characters and the narrators! It is an intense slow burn 🔥 totally worth your credit. College romance, friend’s off-limits girlfriend, fated love, deep connection vs comfortable relationship etc… If interested in these themes, grab it.

There’s only one person in the world who makes the hair on my nape rise. Him. And by him, I mean that egotistical bad boy who thinks he’s God’s gift. River Tate—AKA Perfect Guy from the night I met Donovan.—River & Anastasia are fated to be together it just takes them a while to get on the same page;)
Life is just one breath away from death. Every single MFing second counts.—I absolutely love this line!! No truer words or advice can be given!!
River is a genuinely great guy. He believes in honesty, family & loyalty. But his loyalty could cost him his fate. Luckily for him Donavan is a dumba$$ and does not believe in the same things that River does. My heart soared for River & Anastasia when they finally admit their feelings for each other❤️
Gah! The epilogue is everything on so many levels! River’s mom’s diagnosis & his NFL team are perfect. His dad was certainly with him:)

Pretty Decent Story
I've liked every book of Ilsa Madden-Mills that I've listened to so far, they are an easy listen and they grab you early on. This one was the typical Enemies to Lovers story, the chemistry between Anastasia and River was great throughout the book, I really enjoyed River's portion of the story. Although it is supposed to be a football story there was really little about football other than it was his dream to be drafted. I have read Hockey, Soccer and Baseball stories and they have a bit more of the sport in them than this one did. But all in all a good story.

Very Cute YA listen
This will be an atypical opinion for Ilsa Madden-Mills from me.. I usually throughly enjoy her work, and while this listen was good, it is not her best effort. This story involves two young people who were attracted to each other, but ultimately did not date. A year later, things begin to change in their lives and its a loooonnnngggg path for them to find each other. This story was nice, but it is not one I would listen to again. The unrequited love pushed my patience. The performance was stellar and probably saved the listen. Overall I would not recommend a credit, but wait for a sale or the PLUS catalog.

Good Listen
I enjoyed this storyline and these characters. Their quirkiness and faults had a real feel to them and I really felt their struggles. The cast of characters is also a favorite of mine I love a story filled with colorful characters and this one has it. Narration is also done well and made it very entertaining.

Revenge!
I loved it. The back and forth and the banter made this a perfect combo of a book. The best type of revenge. Great audio! Narration was spot on. Loved the story and fire in this book.

If you’re looking for a young adult this is your book
Storyline of this book was OK. I felt it was more like a high school book than college but if you are into college in football you will like this
